# YetiSwap Introduction IntroductionYetiSwap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) which runs on Avalanche, uses thesame automated market-making (AMM) model as Uniswap, features a native governance token called YTS ### **Introduction** YetiSwap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) which runs on Avalanche, uses the [same automated market-making (AMM) model as Uniswap](https://uniswap.org/docs/v2/protocol-overview/how-uniswap-works/), features a native governance token called YTS that is fully community distributed and is capable of trading all tokens issued on Ethereum and Avalanche. In a crowded marketplace with multiple contenders, YetiSwap offers three critically important benefits: **fast and cheap trades**, and a **fair and open token distribution**. First, YetiSwap can finalize trades quickly and cheaply. Since YetiSwap is built on Avalanche, it enables users to swap assets while enjoying sub-second transaction finality and transaction fees as low as a few cents. Oftentimes, trades on YetiSwap will feel as fast as trades on centralized exchanges. Second, beyond the significant performance upgrades to the technical status quo. Users of existing AMMs, such as Pangolin, Uniswap, and Sushiswap, are already familiar with their mechanism of action. Therefore, the rest of this post does not discuss how YetiSwap achieves its trading capabilities. Instead, we discuss the YTS token in more detail, including its distribution mechanism and governance rules. ### **YTS Distribution** We will be community-driven in the future... ### **Distribution Breakdown** No YTS tokens are allocated to the investors, advisors, or any sort of insiders. We will share the details later. # FAQ ### **Why are my fees displayed in ETH on MetaMask?** MetaMask is originally built for Ethereum and does not support the native tokens of other blockchain networks. The ETH units displayed are actually AVAX units when on the Avalanche network. Therefore, to get the true cost of transactions, you need to multiply the units by the current market rate of AVAX. ### **Why do I have to make two transactions sometimes using MetaMask?** MetaMask will ask you to first approve the YetiSwap app to interact with your tokens. Afterwards, you will then be able to confirm the transaction. ### **Am I able to use my Ethereum wallet on Avalanche?** Yes - that is the power of Avalanche! It allows you to use your same wallet that you use on Ethereum. ### **What is YTS?** YTS is the YetiSwap governance token. Learn more about YTS governance [here](https://docs.yetiswap.app/). ### **Why does my liquidity not show up on the pools page?** If you deposit your YSL tokens, your liquidity won’t show up on the pools page until you withdraw your YSL tokens. Technically, you are handing ownership of your liquidity to the staking pools and you can’t claim your liquidity until you withdraw your YSL tokens. ### **Do I still get fees when staking YSL to mine YTS?** Yes. Details will be announced later... # NFT Market Introduction NFT Market Introduction ### Introduction You will be able to buy/sell NFT collections that have been whitelisted and verified in the Yetiswap NFT market and even produce your own NFTs. When these NFTs you produce are sold on the YetiSwap NFT market, you will be able to collect royalties from them if you wish.
With the NFT market, you will be able to quickly sell your NFTs and buy the NFTs you like, even with the wallet feature in the market, you will be able to see your whitelisted/verified NFTs from a single place and transfer these NFTs quickly. Currently, only $YTS and $AVAX are used in our NFT market. We have system commission, there is a 2% commission for transactions made with $YTS and 3% for transactions made with $AVAX.
While creating an NFT through our NFT market, you have the opportunity to choose the royalties. Currently, the royalties options are between 0% and 15%, so every time an NFT you created is sold on the YetiSwap NFT market, the royalty amount you choose will be automatically transferred to your account.
**To give you an example:** When an NFT with 5% copyright, is sold on the YetiSwap NFT market for 2000 $YTS price | | | | :-------------------: | :-----------: | | **Creator** | **100 $YTS** | | **System Commission** | **40 $YTS** | | **Seller** | **1860 $YTS** | You will be able to see this information in detail at the sales stage.
When you want to produce an NFT with royalties, the system will ask you for $YTS according to the royalty rate you have chosen. If you do not choose royalties, you do not need to pay any $YTS.
The needed $YTS calculation is as follows: `Needed YTS = Royalties Fee Rate* Royalties Unit Price` The royalties unit price may vary depending on market conditions. Currently, the royalty unit price is 10 $YTS.
